1 week oud en we hebben onze namen gekregen. 1 week old and we got our names.

We zijn  nu 1 week oud en voor het eerst elk apart op de foto gezet.

De ouders hebben het maar druk....... The parents are so busy ......

Terwijl mama het heel druk heeft met de pups, heeft papa het druk met de tennisbal. ;-)

Hoera, ze zijn er! Hurray, they are here!

Op donderdag 14 maart zijn de pups van Hera en Macho geboren. We noemen ze liefkozend de HeMa's.
In totaal zes pups, vier reuen en twee teven.

On Thursday March 14 the puppies of Hera and Macho arrived. We affectionately call them the HeMas.

Drachtig! - Pregnant!

Het romantische weekendje van de ‘Belgische schone’ en ‘Stoere Nederlander’ krijgt een vervolg!

Vandaag 6 februari is via echo bevestigd wat haar baasje al vermoedde: Hera is drachtig! Half maart, in week 11, zullen we weten hoeveel zachte pluizenbolletjes deze wereld mooier zullen maken en hoeveel gezinnen mogen gaan genieten van hun nieuwe pup.

Today February 6 it was confirmed by echo what her owner already suspected: Hera is pregnant! In mid-March, in week 11, we will know how many soft fluff balls will make this world more beautiful and how many families can enjoy their new puppy.

De ontmoeting - The date

In het weekend van 12 januari heeft deze ‘Belgische schone’ een date gehad met deze ‘stoere Nederlander’.

Ze zijn beiden stapelverliefd op elkaar en hebben hun verloving omgezet in een huwelijk. Over een week of vier zullen we weten of ze hun gezinnetje gaan uitbreiden met ‘knappe kinders’. 

In the weekend of January 12 this 'Belgian beauty' had a date with this 'sturdy Dutchman'.

They are both madly in love with each other and have turned their engagement into a marriage. In about a week or four we will know if they will expand their family with 'handsome children'.

Voorstellen - Introduction

Hera en Macho zijn Shiloh Shepherds.

Wij hebben met een streng fokbeleid en er gaat nogal wat aan vooraf voordat een dekking mag plaatsvinden. Zo moeten de ouderdieren diverse (gezondheids)testen ondergaan. Meer daarover leest u op bovenstaande websites.

Dan nu over naar Hera en Macho zelf, we zullen ze even aan u voorstellen.

Hera and Macho are Shiloh Shepherds.

We have a strict breeding policy and there is a lot in to do in advance before a breeding may take place. For example, the parents dogs have to undergo various (health) tests. You can read more about this on the websites above.

Then now to Hera and Macho themselves, we would like to introduce them to you.

Hera haar officiële naam is DPS-Noa’s deeply loved Hera

Ze is aanhankelijk, waaks, leergierig, nieuwsgierig, heel gevoelig en veel te slim.
Ze speelt graag met andere honden. Ze kan wel eens jaloers reageren, maar niet agressief, wanneer een andere hond een speeltje of snoepbeentje heeft. Ze wacht haar moment af om het terug te pakken.
Ze gaat graag mee met de auto en blijft altijd rustig in de auto, ook tijdens lange autoritten
Bij de laatste jaarlijkse Shiloh-dag was Hera geïnteresseerd in een 9 weken oude pup en die pup is een groot deel van de dag bij Hera komen liggen. Hera bemoederde hem. Zo mooi om zien hoe lief ze ermee om ging.

Hera haar schofthoogte is 68 cm. Haar gewicht schommelt rond de 40 kg.

Hera is affectionate, watchful, eager to learn, curious, very sensitive and way too smart! She likes to play with other dogs. She can sometimes respond jealously but not aggressively when another dog has a toy or candy bone. She simply waits for her moment to take it back! Hera likes to go with the car and always stays calm there, even during long car trips. At the last annual Shiloh day, Hera was interested in a 9 week old puppy and that puppy came to Hera for a large part of the day. Hera mothered him. It was so beautiful to see how sweet she was about it. Hera's height is 68 cm. Her weight fluctuates around 40 kg.

Macho zijn officiële naam is Jewels Amazing Macho

Hij is een heel lieve hond die graag bij de baas is. Heel trouw naar de familie en ook superintelligent. Als zijn baas met hem loopt, heeft hij eigenlijk geen riem nodig. Naar vreemden is hij terughoudend maar als je zijn vertrouwen gewonnen hebt, heb je een vriend voor het leven. Hij is waaks en waarschuwt bij onraad. 

Hij gaat goed met kinderen en andere honden zolang ze op gelijke voet staan. Naar dominante honden vertoont hij onderdanig gedrag. Hij gaat graag achter konijnen, ganzen en eenden aan maar weet ze nooit te vangen. Met Macho kun je gerust overal komen. 

Macho zijn schofthoogte is 76 cm. Zijn gewicht tussen de 55 en 60 kilo.

Macho is a very sweet dog who likes to be the boss. He's very loyal to the family and also super intelligent. When his owner walks with him, he does not really need a leash. Macho is reticent to strangers, but once you have won his trust, you have a friend for life. He goes well with children and other dogs as long as they are on an equal footing. He exhibits submissive behavior towards dominant dogs. He likes to go after rabbits, geese and ducks but never manages to catch them. With our Macho you can safely go anywhere, he's an excellent protector! Macho's height is 76 cm. His weight between 55 and 60 kilos.
